Eric Ellsworth

Eric Ellsworth is a seasoned financial executive with more than 15 years of experience guiding organizations through growth, transformation, and complex financial strategies. As Chief Financial Officer, he brings a proven track record in financial planning and reporting, capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, risk management, and strategic operations across diverse industries including energy, e-commerce, real estate, aviation, and healthcare.

Before joining Rupe Companies, Eric served as CFO of Southern Sand, LLC, where he oversaw financial operations for multiple entities generating more than $20 million in annual revenue. He led investor relations, capital strategy, contract negotiations, employee benefits implementation, and high-level financial analysis. Previously, he held leadership roles at WPX Energy, where he managed treasury operations, executed over $6 billion in capital market transactions, and co-led major infrastructure and financing projects. Earlier in his career, Eric worked in finance roles at Road Science, LLC, and in business development and account management at Hilti, Inc.

Eric holds an MBA from the University of Oklahoma’s Price College of Business, where he was a Beta Gamma Sigma Dunham Scholar and studied abroad at the London School of Economics. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Economics and International Business from Oklahoma State University. Known for his collaborative leadership style, strategic foresight, and ability to deliver results in fast-moving environments, Eric is committed to building strong financial foundations that support long-term business success.

When Eric is not working, he can be found in his yard doing yard work or on a field for practice or a game as a spectator or coach for his children’s various sports. His wife, Whitney, and him have four children.
