Chris Whelan

Chris Whelan is the Development Financial Analyst for Rupe Companies. In this role, he is responsible for evaluating and modeling the financial aspects of the company’s development projects, guiding critical decision-making processes ranging from land acquisition to project feasibility studies. He leverages detailed financial acumen alongside in-depth market research and demographic trend analysis to identify growth opportunities and inform business decisions.

Prior to joining Rupe Companies, Chris served as investment analyst and associate broker for Northmarq (formerly Stan Johnson Company), a national commercial real estate sales and debt brokerage. With over 7 years of industry experience, he has contributed to over 130 successful transactions totaling over $660 million in sales volume. As a Tulsa native, Chris holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Tulsa. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors, playing guitar, and cooking for friends and family.
