Founder & CEO
John Rupe, Jr. founded Rupe Companies in 2002 as a general contractor and has spent the past two decades growing it into a multifaceted real estate development and construction firm operating across multiple states and serving a wide range of industries. As Founder and CEO, John oversees the company’s strategy, growth, and daily operations, partnering closely with Rupe’s leadership team and clients to foster collaboration, innovation, and long-term value across its business entities.
Deeply committed to community leadership, John has been an active member of YPO (Young Presidents Organization) since 2010 and previously served as chapter chair. He is Chairman of the Board for the Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) and serves on the Board of Directors for Trust Company of Oklahoma. John currently serves in advisory and board roles for several organizations, including the Tulsa Community College Foundation (advisory board) and The Lorie Lord Breast Cancer Foundation. Over the years, he has also served on multiple nonprofit and civic boards, including the Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless and The Salvation Army. He additionally supports the United Way of Tulsa and the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance.
John is a graduate of Arizona State University and a recipient of the Significant Sig Award, one of the highest honors bestowed by the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, golfing, snow skiing, and spending time at the lake with his family.
