Stuart joined us in September 2023 as our legal counsel. He has twenty-five years of experience in the legal field and previously worked as our outside counsel. Stuart holds a degree in Business/Accounting from Oklahoma University (1995) and a Law degree from the University of Tulsa College of Law (1999) with the highest honors.

Stuart’s exceptional legal abilities have been acknowledged by Oklahoma Super Lawyers, who have recognized him as a Rising Star in Business/Corporate Law, and by Best Lawyers in America, who have identified him as a top Corporate Law practitioner. He has previously served as a City of Tulsa Board of Adjustment member. 

As our general counsel, Stuart is responsible for all legal and corporate compliance matters. This includes negotiating and documenting real estate acquisitions and dispositions and ensuring the real estate zoning and entitlement for all development projects. He also manages all contract issues and activities on a day-to-day basis.

Stuart loves working at Rupe Companies because of the team environment and atmosphere. In his free time, he enjoys spending quality time with his family and friends and playing golf.
