Commercial Construction Superintendent
Rupe Building Company, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee all field operations for a large national retailer with projects ranging from $1 million to $5 million in scope. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong understanding of construction processes, the ability to drive schedules, ensure quality, and manage safety standards. Technical proficiency with ProCore, Microsoft Projects and Bluebeam is preferred. The person hired will need to be comfortable with Travel around the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day on-site operations for commercial construction projects, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
- Lead daily morning meetings, monitor job progress, and maintain jobsite cleanliness and organization.
- Interpret and enforce project plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Utilize ProCore for documentation, daily logs, RFI tracking, and photo management.
- Use Bluebeam to review and annotate construction documents and submittals.
- Conduct site inspections and enforce safety compliance (OSHA standards).
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers regarding schedule updates, field conditions, and problem resolution.
- Support quality control and manage punch list completion.
- Represent the company professionally when interfacing owners, architects, and inspectors.
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects in the $1–$5M range.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Proven experience with ProCore and Bluebeam.
- Technically savvy with the ability to manage project data digitally and troubleshoot issues efficiently.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Work Environment:
- Full-time, field-based role with travel to job sites required.
- Must be able to work outdoors in various conditions and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Travel around the state of Oklahoma and surrounding states is required.
Compensation, what we are seeking and how to apply:
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, life, and vision insurance, in addition to base compensation and paid time off. These benefits will begin on the first of the month following the start of employment. The company covers 100% of the employee’s medical premium option 1 plan. Employer contribution may change annually. Employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan after three months of employment, with the company matching up to 4% of contributions if the employee contributes 4%. Vesting starts immediately. The base compensation for this role will be commensurate with experience, but the range will be within the fair market value of this role.
