Carey Baker

Carey has more than 30 years of business leadership experience across both public and private companies. Her background spans human resources, recruiting, data analysis, team leadership, client management, and financial operations. Prior to joining Rupe Companies, Carey was the CEO and Founder of ProRecruiters, a nationally recognized staffing firm she built and led for 15 years before successfully selling the company in 2021.

Carey graduated with honors from Vanderbilt University in 1995 with a double major in Cognitive Studies and English and a minor in Statistics. Before founding ProRecruiters, she worked at Williams Companies in the Natural Gas division focusing on structured derivatives, and later at The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C., and Chapman Foundations Management.

In her current role as Vice President of People, Technology, and Brand at Rupe Companies, Carey oversees the company’s human resources, technology infrastructure, and brand strategy, including leadership of all marketing initiatives and brand development across the organization.
She resides in Tulsa with her husband and two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, golfing, exercising, and being active in the community. Carey participates in the National Charity League with her daughters and is a Class 28 graduate of Leadership Tulsa.
